Ritu Singh Vaidya Appointed as Goodwill Ambassador of Dignified Menstruation

We are deeply honored to welcome Ritu Singh Vaidya as the new Goodwill Ambassador of the Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation (GSCDM).

A trailblazer in both the corporate and social sectors, Ritu Singh Vaidya brings with her a legacy of bold leadership, compassion, and a powerful voice for gender equity and dignity. As the Managing Director of Vaidya’s Organization of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH), she oversees a wide-ranging portfolio that includes Toyota, Ather, Vaidya Energy, and other major ventures. She is also the force behind WEAN Nepal Laghu Bittiya Sanstha—an all-women-led microfinance institution.

From being crowned Miss India in 1991 to serving as the first woman President of NAIMA (Nepal Automobile Industries Association), Ritu has continuously challenged norms and inspired countless women to dream bigger and lead boldly.

Her appointment as Goodwill Ambassador is a remarkable step forward in GSCDM's mission to end menstrual discrimination and promote Dignified Menstruation as a cornerstone of human rights and social justice.
